    Open up your hamstrings and increase your flexibility and range of motion with this intense hamstring stretch - uttanasana. The key is to bend at the hips, not the waist, and to focus on lengthening the front of the torso as you move more fully into the fold. Always be kind to your body and move within a pain-free range. You can modify this pose by bending the knees and/or grabbing ahold of opposite elbows and swaying your torso gently side to side.

Step 4: Relax head & neck Keep your head and neck relaxed, allowing gravity to do its work. Step 5: Hold pose Hold the pose, breathing smoothly and evenly for several breaths. As you get more comfortable with this pose, you'll be able to stay in it for minutes at a time. Step 6: Release pose Release the pose by bringing your hands to your hips, lifting the straight torso to waist-level so it's parallel to the floor, and then raising it up straight on an inhale. Don't you look smart. Did You Know? The word hamstring comes from the ancient Teutonic word "ham," meaning "crooked"—in other words, the knee.

Use a LED lamp that doesn’t heat up, otherwise the wood is too close to the lamp. Cross-laminate the veneer if possible, it will prevent any warping after glue-up. I didn’t have a wide enough veneer for that, sadly. SAFETY NOTES: Safety first! Always be careful with dangerous tools and make sure you know how to use them correctly. MUSIC BY Henbrix
